With the following privacy notice we would like to provide you with information regarding the processing of personal data by Beiersdorf AG (“Beiersdorf“).

As a selected contact you will receive individual product information, offers, news and product samples from us directly from our employees in personal visits, by phone/video conference, by post (letter) or e-mail. We evaluate your click behaviour on within the e-mails in order to compile the information relevant to you. We may also ask you to take part in surveys to enable us to improve our products and services.

Legal basis for data processing in connection with visits by our employees, phone calls, video conferences and postal mailings: legitimate interest to intensify loyalty by providing exclusive information, Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.

Legal basis for e-mail marketing and surveys: consent, Art. 6 (1) a GDPR.

Beiersdorf transfers the collected data for processing to the respective internal functions/units (e.g. sales, marketing and medical management) as well as to other affiliated companies within the Beiersdorf Group or to external service providers (e.g. hosting, shipping, processing service providers). Platform/hosting providers will have access to personal data from a third country (countries outside the European Economic Area). As an appropriate safeguard we have agreed on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR with these providers. In the event of a legal obligation, Beiersdorf reserves the right to disclose information about you if it is required to surrender it by lawful authorities or law enforcement bodies.

To inform you and provide advice, we maintain your data and information about your specialization with support from OneKey a database from IQVIA Commercial GmbH & CO. OHG, Unterschweinstiege 2-14 60549 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with up to date contact- and specialization data on health care professionals. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest (according to Art. 6 (1 f) GDPR) to intensify loyalty. If you provide your data directly or we receive it in any other way, it will not automatically be saved in the OneKey database. IQVIA may receive a notice from us and will contact you directly, to include or update your data. You can object to the inclusion of your data towards IQVIA at any time. The OneKey database is not publicly accessible. 

Your data will be deleted when they are no longer required for the purpose of processing or after the regular period of three years of inactivity, unless there are legal storage obligations or periods of limitation that must be complied with.

You may request a rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) or a partial or complete deletion of your personal data (Art. 17 GDPR), request information about the data stored by us regarding your person (right of access, Art. 15 GDPR), obtain restriction of the processing (Art. 18 GDPR) or a transfer of your data (Art. 20 GDPR), unless this has been restrained in accordance with (local) legislation (e.g. § 34 German BDSG (new)).
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.

The submission of your personal data is not a legal or contractual requirement and is not necessary in order to enter into a contract. You are not required to make your personal data available. If your personal data is not made available, it will not be possible to process your data. 

If you have given your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR) to the processing of your data, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Such a withdrawal influences the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have given it to us.

If we base the processing of your personal data on the weighing of interests (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR), you may object to the processing. This is the case if processing is not necessary in particular to fulfil a contract with you, which is described by us in the description of the functions / services. When exercising such objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of your justified objection, we will examine the situation and either stop or adjust data processing or point out to you our compelling reasons worthy of protection, on the basis of which we will continue processing. 
Of course, you can object to the processing of your personal data for purposes of advertising and data analysis at any time. You can inform us about your objection under the above-mentioned contact details for the controller.
