Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye Cream was formulated specifically to target ‘crows feet’ wrinkling in the delicate eye area. The formula with a combination of high and low molecular Hyaluronic Acid works on both existing and emerging wrinkles and additonally contains bio-active Glycine Saponin. SPF 15 plus UVA protection reduces premature ageing and the deepening of eye area wrinkles to leave the skin looking smoother and more youthful.
Clinical Formula
Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic Acid is a skin-own humectant and filling substance, synthesized by epidermal keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts. It plays a crucial role in skin hydration and volume. Natural levels of Hyaluronic Acid decrease with age leading to the formation and deepening of wrinkles.
Two key benefits are:
- Wrinkle Reduction: High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~2,000 kDa) binds and retains high amounts of water, keeping the skin firm and well moisturized. This helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles in the upper skin layers.
- Deep Skin Rejuvenation: Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~52 kDa) penetrates deeper into the epidermis, stimulating skin’s own hyaluronan synthesis and promoting cell proliferation.
Glycine Saponin
Glycine Saponin is a bioactive compound derived from Soybean Germ (Glycine max), containing isoflavones and saponins. It is a potent antioxidant that plays a key role in maintaining skin structure and elasticity by stimulating essential extracellular matrix (ECM) components.
