The pigment melanin is produced by melanocytes that gives colour to skin and is our body’s own natural UV-protection. Yet increased melanin production and uneven distribution in our skin can cause pigment spots to occur.

To reduce the appearance of pigment spots and prevent their reappearance, we created Eucerin Anti-Pigment Correcting Hand Cream. The hand cream is well absorbed and also extremely effective at moisturising the skin, so it feels comfortably nourished all day long.

Eucerin Anti-Pigment Correcting Hand Cream contains Thiamidol, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation by reducing melanin production. It is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots and prevent their re-appearance. First results are visible after two weeks and improve continuously with regular use.

With UVA and UVB filters (SPF 30) the correcting hand cream offers effective protection from the sun and reduces the chances of skin developing sun-induced pigment spots. Pigment spots on the hands are visibly reduced and skin appears even and radiant.

FAQ

You can apply Eucerin Anti-Pigment Correcting Hand Cream to your hands up to four times a day only as it contains the active ingredient Thiamidol. Avoid contact directly on or near your eyes.

The skin on our hands is more exposed to external aggressors than on any other part of our body. Frequent hand washing means the skin on our hands is often in contact with water, as well as soaps and other chemicals, and subject to temperature changes. A stable barrier function protects us from these external factors and keeps skin hydrated. However, when the skin barrier is impaired, skin may lose moisture and hands can look and feel very dry, red and scaly.
